Charlton Hook

Charlton joined Illuminate in July 2021 as an Investment Executive based out of New York City. Prior to Illuminate, Charlton worked as a MBA investment associate at Tribeca Early Stage Partners, an early stage fintech focused VC firm, while acquiring his MBA at Columbia Business School. Prior to that Charlton did corporate strategy at Capital One’s commercial bank, where he worked on special projects for the bank's CEO. Before that Charlton started his career at Prudential, where he did asset liability management for the $100B+ retirement business and helped create a new retirement product. Charlton is a CFA Charterholder and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a double major in Finance and Economics with a Minor in Mathematics from Rutgers University.
