Konstantin Koenig

Konstantin joined Illuminate in 2025 as a Principal based out of London where he focuses on Seed to Series B investments.

Prior to Illuminate, Konstantin was a Principal at Frog Capital, a London-based firm specializing in growth-stage software investments across Europe. At Frog, he led investments ranging from €5m to €15m into high-growth tech scale-ups, including the $100m+ Series C round for Modulr, led by General Atlantic, and the €30m Series B round for PropTech Housfy, led by Frog. He also played an active role in portfolio management, most notably serving as a Board Director for InsurTech Genasys Technologies and HealthTech Oxford Medical Simulation.

Before Frog Capital, Konstantin worked in Investment Banking for more than half a decade primarily advising FinTech companies on sell-side and buy-side M&A, leveraged buyouts, and growth equity financings at Financial Technology Partners.

Of German-Greek descent, Konstantin grew up across Asia, living in Seoul, Mumbai, and Tokyo. He holds a BA in History from Royal Holloway University and a Master’s in Economics from Durham University.
